Ruling on appeal of St. Petersburg City Court upheld decision of Frunzensky District Court of St. Petersburg of March 19, 2009 in case 33-9258/2009, which for the first time after amendments to the Federal Consumers’ Rights Protection Act resolved the issue to apply Art. 18 On Protection of Consumers’ Rights" in terms of repeated removal of defects within 30 days in each year of the warranty period. The issue of duration of the statute was resolved.
