Subject of claim:

As a result of the closure of a car selling company who misled purchasers and failed to deliver cars under signed sales contracts for which prepayment was received, the affected purchasers brought civil actions to recover the cars, subsequently changing their claims to a refund under the contract.

Representation of the car importer, who had not received payment for the cars and was their owner at the time the third party illegally disposed of them.

The claims against the importer were dismissed, the amounts received under the contract were recovered from the seller, the seller’s responsible persons were subsequently held criminally liable and personally liable to the victims.
